23 April 2015When you visit Singapore on your own dime you have to be careful about where you eat. Because you can spend a lot and get a little or spend a little and get a lot.
Tburu represents the results of my quest for the best value Omakase Set in Singapore. They have an opening promotion with an Omakase Set menu for $50 Singapore dollars!!!
Located in Orchard Gateway on the 5th floor above Crate & Barrel.
The restaurant has a clean Japanese inspired look using a lot of timber and natural stone...etc.. I am here to eat…

Lobster Salad
Chawanmushi with Truffle Oil (savoury egg custard)
Iberico Pork Belly
Yakitori (Chicken, Pork, Whitefish, Okra)
Sushi Moriawase

The verdict:
I still maintain that Tburu currently represents the best value Omakase Set menu in Singapore! You can find better Japanese restaurants in Singapore but it may not represent this great value for money. Giddy-up, get there while their Omakase promotion lasts!

Another blog I follow wrote about another place, mentioned how the value for money is quite good (I think it was around $65...). I must admit that for an Omakase set, $50 is very, very good. I trust your taste buds ;)
